What to expect from the beam pattern

The SAE fog pattern puts light low and wide, with a defined upper cutoff to help control upward glare. It works alongside your headlights, which still provide your long-distance illumination.

Make sure it fits.

Choose the housing that matches your factory front bumper. Widebody fits Z06, Grand Sport, and ZR1. Narrowbody fits base coupes and convertibles. Each housing is shaped for its factory fog-light opening.

Questions before you buy?

Will this fit my C6?

There are separate widebody and narrowbody C6 options. Select widebody for a factory Z06, Grand Sport or ZR1 front bumper, or narrowbody for a Base, Coupe or Convertible bumper. If your bumper or fog openings have been changed, confirm the correct version before ordering.

Which Baja Designs pods fit housings-only?

These housings are designed for Baja Designs light pods with the original Squadron 1.0-style housing, including the current Squadron SAE and original Squadron Sport and Pro. Squadron 2.0 Sport and Pro pods have a redesigned housing and do not fit. If you are sourcing your own lights, check that the pod has the original Squadron housing and mounting shape before ordering. Housings-only options do not include light pods or wiring. The separately sold Factory Fog Adapter Pair above connects all Baja Designs Squadron 1.0 pods, including current Squadron SAE pods, to the factory C6 fog harness.

What comes in the box?

Contents depend on the option selected above. Narrowbody: Stainless dowel pins come preinstalled to reinforce the housings’ built-in mounting nubs. Widebody: Dowel pins and adhesive are supplied loose for assembly.

Single full kit: Two ASA housings, one pair of Baja Designs Squadron SAE pods (amber or clear), stainless dowel pins, and prewired factory fog adapters.
Dual full kit: Two dual-pod ASA housings, two amber and two clear Baja Designs Squadron SAE pods, stainless dowel pins, prewired factory fog adapters, and a relay harness for the high-beam-activated pair.
Housings only: Two single- or dual-pod ASA housings with stainless dowel pins. No lights or wiring.
High-beam relay harness: The same prewired harness included in the dual full kit, sold separately for housings-only builds or replacements. No lights, housings or factory fog adapters.
Factory fog adapter pair: Two prewired adapters. No lights or housings.

How does installation work?

Single full kit
The single full kit connects to the factory fog harness through the included prewired adapters and activates with the factory fog switch. No cutting or splicing into your factory wiring is required. The final connector pins are supplied loose so you can confirm polarity at your C6’s factory fog connectors and insert the pins in the matching positions before connecting the adapters.

Dual full kit
Includes everything in the single full kit, including the prewired factory fog adapters. It also adds a prewired relay harness for the second pod pair, triggered through a fuse tap at the factory high-beam fuse. The relay harness is long; you can shorten it for a tidier fit, but shortening is entirely optional. The fog pair uses the factory fog switch; the second pair activates with the high beams. Both use the factory controls, with no aftermarket switch or cutting or splicing into your factory wiring. The two pod pairs are not intended to run together.

Do the housings need sanding or painting?

No, the housings are ready to use as supplied. Most customers install and run their housings exactly as supplied, with no sanding or painting. If you’d like a smoother finish or a custom color, you can sand and paint the ASA housings yourself or have your preferred painter finish them. We don’t offer sanding or painting services. Just keep in mind that sanded or painted housings can’t be returned.

Are these made to order?

Yes. The ASA housings are made to order and typically ship to the carrier within one week after payment is confirmed. U.S. shipping is included. See Shipping, Returns & Product Use for the full details.

Production and delivery

These products are made to order. Production begins after payment is confirmed. Orders typically ship to the carrier within one week. This is an estimate, not a delivery date; production and carrier timelines may vary. Shipping is included for U.S. orders. Please provide an accurate shipping address at checkout. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition and packaging. If you choose to sand or paint your housings, please keep in mind they can no longer be returned. The buyer is responsible for return shipping. Refunds are issued after inspection. To start a return, email orders@shopxtalgic.com with your order number.

Damage or product defects

If your package arrives visibly damaged, email orders@shopxtalgic.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the package and item. If you notice a possible product defect later, email us as soon as you discover it with your order number, photos, and a description so we can review the issue and work with you on next steps.

Vehicle use

The buyer is responsible for safe installation and operation. The dual kit’s fog pair and high-beam-triggered pair are not intended to run together. Check applicable state and local requirements for road use.
